Athletes of the year will be honored from finalists already announced in football, softball, volleyball and cross country. Finalists for basketball, swimming and wrestling will be announced in April. Finalists for baseball, golf, soccer, tennis and track and field will be announced after their seasons end in May.

Selection Committee:

An elite group of athletes is hand-selected by a panel of Tulsa World sportswriters. Athletes who qualify for nomination for an award are within 60 miles of downtown Tulsa. Athletes also are eligible if they are from a town of at least 5,000 people and located within 75 miles of downtown Tulsa.
